This policy explains how Asylum Insights collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit asyluminsights.com or submit an enquiry or commission through this website.

What we collect

From the enquiry form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the message you write. From the commission form: the same fields, plus the country the claim concerns and the summary you provide. We also process standard technical data generated by our hosting provider, including IP address, for security and rate limiting.

Why we hold it

To respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can accept a commission, and to agree scope and fees. Where a matter proceeds, case material is held for the period necessary to complete the work and to meet professional record-keeping obligations.

What we will never do

  • Share case details, client identity, or instruction documents with immigration authorities, government bodies, or any third party, in any jurisdiction.
  • Sell or rent personal data.
  • Use enquiry details for marketing, or add you to a mailing list on the basis of an enquiry.

Where the data is stored

Enquiries submitted through this site are recorded in a private spreadsheet accessible only to Asylum Insights, and may be forwarded to our internal notification workflow so that an enquiry is not missed. Both are access-controlled. No case data is stored in browser cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email info@asyluminsights.com.
