By using asyluminsights.com you accept these terms. Everything published here is general information about expert evidence. It is not legal advice, it is not expert evidence, and it must not be relied on in proceedings.
No client relationship by form submission
Sending an enquiry or an instruction through this site does not create a client relationship and does not oblige either party to proceed. An instruction exists only once scope, timescale, and fee have been agreed in writing and we have confirmed acceptance.
Expert independence
Expert evidence is provided to the tribunal or decision-maker, not as advocacy for the instructing party. Where the available material does not support the proposition we have been asked to address, the report will say so. Instructions seeking a predetermined conclusion are declined.
Scope of an instruction
Each report answers the questions set out in the confirmed instruction and no others. Any extension of scope requires your written authority, and where relevant a revised fee. Deadlines that do not allow properly sourced evidence will be declined rather than met with a shorter report.
Responsibility of the instructing party
Directions, filing deadlines, permission requirements, and funding authorisations remain the responsibility of the instructing representative. We will flag a timetable problem if we see one, but we cannot monitor your proceedings.
Accuracy and currency
Country conditions change, and procedural rules are amended. Material on this site is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing and is not maintained as a live reference.
